Chasing Infinity, Dance With The One That Brought You. Single Review.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating 7.5/10

In what seems the dim and distant past, another world existed within the musical spectrum. It was a world in which musicians and bands were given the freedom to grow at their own pace artistically, to be nurtured and perhaps allowed the room to breathe. Not every label was so forward thinking back then and perhaps even less now, everybody wants their piece of the action and worse perhaps the unholy chasing of the Pound/Dollar or Euro that goes with it.

Chasing Infinity, Gig Review. The Lomax, Liverpool.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating * * *

It doesn’t seem like five minutes ago that the members of the fledgling group, Chasing Infinity, were making their way through the University of Liverpool Band Society. The chance to get together with like minded people through music at University may have had its detractors but as Adele Halsall, Rob Saunders, Paul McCormick and Megan Eldred have more than ably proved over the last couple of years, it is just the beginning.

Chasing Infinity To Perform At The Lomax.

On the back of the release of their debut album which was released last November, Liverpool’s Chasing Infinity has announced their first gig of 2013 at the Lomax on Cumberland Street for Sunday 10th February.

Chasing Infinity are former University of Liverpool student Adele Halsell on lead vocals, Paul McCormick on guitar and backing vocals, Robert Saunders on bass, backing vocals and harmonica and Megan Eldred on drums and backing vocals. For a young band and still in their musical infancy, Chasing Infinity has already garnered a great following and their sound is impressive.

Like Mercury Midnight and The Guardians before them, The Sub Zeros are a band that has something more to them than first meets the eye.

Fronted by the very fabulous Katie Lochhead on bass and vocals, The Sub Zeros took the o2 Academy, Liverpool by storm and left at the end of their set with heads held high and with the knowledge that there were a lot of converts to their incredible sound.
