Dirt, Bonds. Single Review.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating 9/10

It takes a Doctor who normally knows you well to prescribe you something extra that will get you out of a slump, the timely injection of the touch of prospective future genius in which to immerse yourself into. That Doctor will not leave you floundering like a salmon gasping for oxygen on the banks of raging river and with a bear looking hungrily on, he will not leave you in the dust, but he will prescribe you Dirt and the boost to the musical eardrums is opportune and sensible.

There are a lot of bands around who take time to get back into their stride after taking a considerable long time off from touring, especially when they are young and hungry. Like Mercury Midnight and The Guardians before them, The Sub Zeros are a band that has something more to them than first meets the eye.

Fronted by the very fabulous Katie Lochhead on bass and vocals, The Sub Zeros took the o2 Academy, Liverpool by storm and left at the end of their set with heads held high and with the knowledge that there were a lot of converts to their incredible sound.
