Michael Ball To Return To Liverpool in 2015 As Part Of National Tour.

Michael Ball is Britain’s leading musical theatre star, a double Olivier Award winner, multi-platinum recording artist and a hugely popular radio and T.V. presenter. November 2014 will see the release of his latest album If Everyone Was Listening, featuring 15 tracks chosen by Michael to include a mix of individual classics, award winners and contemporary songs spanning the years 1960 to 2013.

For more than 25 years Michael has been at the top of his game starring in musical theatre productions in the West End and on Broadway winning critical acclaim, a devoted following and awards for his stage work and recording career.

The Kaiser Chiefs Return To Liverpool As Part of 2015 U.K. Tour.

Following a run of summer festivals, the Kaiser Chiefs have confirmed a U.K. headline tour in February 2015, with nine new shows added to the previously announced London The 02 Arena and Leeds First Direct Arena dates. This tour will also see the band return to Liverpool’s Echo Arena for the first time since March 2009. Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, August 15 at 9am.

Franny Conlin And Wild Flowers Productions Bring The Morgue Table To The Epstein Theatre.

Prepare to be taken on a ghostly journey as brand new Liverpool Theatre Company Wild Flowers Productions bring their new play to the Epstein for one night only on August 16th 2014. Their debut piece, Wild Flowers was critically acclaimed after a run last year at the Unity and Epstein theatres and now their new comedy, The Morgue Table is back, due to popular demand after a successful run at the Capstone and The Atkinson in June.

Written By Franny Conlin, this is a story about two inmates of Walton prison, Ike and Maddox, who are propositioned by their governor, Mr. Grime to venture into the haunted tunnels beneath the prison and destroy the old morgue table.

Michael Frayn’s Noises Off To Entertain Audiences At The Royal Court Theatre.

Royal Court Liverpool has looked backstage for inspiration for it’s new production. Noises Off by Michael Frayn is a brilliantly funny farce that has had excellent reviews wherever it has been.

Noises Off has variously been described as “The funniest farce ever written” (New York Post), “A modern classic” (Guardian) and “Theatrical comic bliss” (Daily Telegraph). The show will be running at The Royal Court for just four weeks.

Culture Club To Perform In Liverpool With Alison Moyet Announced As Special Guest.

There is not a country in the world that doesn’t know the names of Boy George and Culture Club.  Grammy Award winners Culture Club sold in excess of 100 million singles and over 50 million albums, and were one of the biggest pop bands of the 1980s.  They achieved seven straight Top 10 hits in the U.K., nine Top 10 singles in the U.S.A. and nine Top 20 singles in Australia.  They had number 1 singles in over a dozen countries and multi-platinum album sales across the world, and were first group since The Beatles to have three Top Ten hits in America from a debut album.  They were also the first group in music history to have an album certified diamond in Canada.  The band consisted of Mikey Craig (bass guitar), Roy Hay (guitar and keyboards), Jon Moss (drums and percussion) and flamboyant front man Boy George (lead vocals.)

In just two weeks’ time Liverpool’s St George’s Hall are set to bring you another haunting week of the popular Catacombs tours. Exploring the darker heart of Liverpool’s most celebrated and historic building, the tours return by popular demand from Mon 26th May – Sun 1st June which sent chills down the spine of thousands of people who came along to the initial run of the sell-out tours in February.

Now theatrical company Lovehistory are set to return with a whole host of actors portraying new characters, within new areas and with new stories from Liverpool’s murderous past. Clean Bandit To Perform In Liverpool This October.

Following their recent sold-out U.K headline tour, Clean Bandit are very pleased to announce details of more U.K headline shows, which will take place throughout October and November. The autumn tour, which will include a date at London’s Brixton Academy, kicks off at Newcastle’s O2 Academy on October 12th, before coming to Liverpool’s 02 Academy on October 16th. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 16th May from 9am.
