Ken Alexander Announces His Departure From The Royal Court Theatre After 18 Glorious Months.

Ken Alexander, Artistic Director of Royal Court Liverpool has announced that he is to move on from the theatre after the current production of Sex And The Suburbs.

That show will mark 18 months since his appointment and, with the theatre about to enter the second phase of its renovation work, he feels that it is time to pursue other projects with other theatres.

During his time as Artistic Director, Ken has helped to develop the Artistic Policy of the Royal Court and broadened the programme of work. He also directed a number of very popular shows including Ladies Day, Laurel and Hardy’s Sons Of The Desert, The Hitchhiker’s Guide To Fazakerley and Special Measures.
