The trick is to so all you can to stay fresh whilst never betraying the core values of what made you popular in the first place; if you can master that then the world of entertainment and art is at your beckoned call.

It is one of the most profoundly moving and stirring pieces of music ever captured for posterity, taken from a story by H.G. Wells which has captured the imagination since it was first published and in which Jeff Wayne has for over 35 years brought to life in its deserved glory. However music aside, the death knell for The War of the Worlds has been sounded across the void of space.

There is no business like show business…even when sometimes during a performance, for whatever reason, the tension in the actor’s voices, the verve and command of the piece feels a little flat, there is still nothing quite listening to an audiences reaction before the star of the show says a word and the adulation given at the end of the musical.
