Ready Steady Cook Live To Set The Taste Buds Tingling At The Empire Theatre.

Combine one green pepper, a red tomato, Lesley Waters, Russell Grant and Aldo Zilli, with the biggest and best T.V. cooking show. Add a dash of laughter and sprinkle generously with outrageous entertainment. Drizzle with plenty of fun, mix well and spread liberally over the Liverpool Empire.  Ready Steady Cook Live! Is the perfect recipe for a sizzling night out!

Ready Steady Cook Live! the long-awaited tour of the U.K.’s most successful T.V. cookery show, will hit the road, travelling the length and breadth of the country from September 2013, calling at the Liverpool Empire on Wednesday 12th March 2014.

Executive Chef Lesley Waters who appeared in over 500 editions of television’s longest running cookery success, will head up the celebrity chefs and is thrilled to announce the T.V. chef favourites who will be joining her on stage.

Aldo Zilli is an award-winning celebrity chef, writer and restaurateur who specializes in Italian, vegetarian and seafood cuisine, and is the founder and chef-patron of some of London’s most exciting and innovative restaurants: Signor Zilli, Zilli Fish, Zilli Green, Zilli Café and Zilli Bar.

Russell Grant, who won the nation’s hearts in the 2011 series of Strictly Come Dancing, will bring his inimitable style and a dash of showbiz to the show as the Host. Russell has also enjoyed huge success in the West End and on tour, starring in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s West End production of The Wizard of Oz, Teen Angel in Grease and in Midnight Tango with his Strictly dance partner Flavia Cacace.

Russell says, “I can’t wait to get on the road with all these amazing chefs and see what they magic up! I’ll be bringing in my own brand of Strictly showbiz – a bit of Salsa whilst they make the salsa, whisking meringue whilst doing the Merengue!”

Following the legendary T.V. format, guest chefs will work against the clock to prepare a meal, backed up by the classic competing Red Tomato/Green Pepper kitchens. As the chefs work furiously, the audience is offered the chance to vote for their favourite. Members of the public join in with the fun, competing at each tour date, with the winner bringing their very own ‘Quickie Bag’ on-stage. During the show the audience can get tips from the chefs, enjoy some insider gossip on making the T.V. series and will have the chance to ask the chefs ‘burning’ questions on preparing better meals.

Perfect for fans of the programme, foodies or those in need of culinary support, the show is ideal for anyone with an appetite for cooking. Will ‘Green Peppers’ or ‘Red Tomatoes’ triumph? Book now to decide and vote at Ready Steady Cook Live!
