Liverpool’s Little Atoms Announce All Female Music Line Up For Their In Conversation With Lynda La Plante.

Little Atom Productions are delighted to announce the first all-female music line-up in their hugely successful Liverpool ‘In Conversation’ series, whose next interview subject is legendary Liverpool crime writer Lynda La Plante at the stunning Concert Room at St George’s Hall on Tuesday 10th September.

The events feature five separate musical acts, each of which performs one of the famous interviewee’s five favourite pieces of music. The series so far has seen acts as varied as a classical guitar rendition of Are Friends Electric? by Tubeway Army and a 25-strong Baroque choir from Waterloo singing music by Henry Purcell but this will be the first time all five songs are performed entirely by women.

Those musicians are the fantastic Natalie McCool, the outstanding fellow Liverpool Music Awards nominee Anna Corcoran, vocal harmony group Barbieshop, former West End musical star Emma Dears and Beatles tribute band with a twist, The Beatelles.

Little Atom Productions’ Karen Podesta said, “We thought it would be a really great way to celebrate what huge female role models Lynda and so many of her characters are, and we have so many fabulous female musicians in this city to choose from. Lynda has chosen some very famous songs and we’ve got some amazing musicians to perform them in really special ways.”

As ever the song titles will be top secret until the event itself and will be a surprise for the audience and the entirely new and unique way that they will be performed will be also be a surprise for the celebrity interviewee.

Co-producer Gemma Aldcroft said, “We like to surprise our guests with the performances so we don’t give them any hint of how they will be performed. The look of delight when they hear totally unique renditions of their favourite songs that they know have been created just for them is priceless. We’re so lucky to have secured such amazing women to perform and we just know Lynda is going to love these special versions. We can’t wait.”

In Conversation with Lynda La Plante’ takes place on Tuesday 10th September in the Concert Room of St George’s Hall. Doors open at 7pm. Tickets are £25 and available from www.littleatomproductions.com.
