The Classic West End Show, We Will Rock You, Will Return To The Liverpool Empire Theatre For One Week Only in 2020.

Following the triumphant 2010 and 2011 U.K. theatre tours and 2013 10th anniversary world arena tour, the smash hit Queen and Ben Elton musical, We Will Rock You announces the show has been reimagined and will embark on a brand-new U.K. & Ireland tour, playing the Liverpool Empire from 30th March to 4th April 2020. Kerry Ellis And Brian May Return To The Liverpool Philharmonic Hall This June.

Following the great success of the inaugural Born Free Tour in 2012, legendary Queen guitarist Brian May and singing sensation Kerry Ellis are teaming up again for a second Born Free Tour with a further 10 shows all performed by candlelight at venues around the U.K. and Ireland and which will visit Liverpool on Sunday 23rd June.

This much-requested return by Brian May and Kerry Ellis to the stage presents the U.K. with a rare opportunity to witness one of the world’s greatest ever guitar players performing in a close-up situation, paired with the uniquely powerful voice of Britain’s newest First Lady of song.  It adds up to a magical evening of music performed in aid of the Born Free Foundation.

Imagine a time when live music is banned and outlawed, to even think of picking up a musical instrument is to be condemned by an organisation that rules over all that it sees. Everybody thinks the same, dresses the same, works for the same company and all expressions of individuality erased and considered a dangerous idea of a degenerative past.

It took time, but finally the global smash hit We Will Rock You found its way to Liverpool, ripped up the rule book on entertaining an audience that were already near to giving a standing ovation before they even opened the curtain and gave the kind of performance that the culture capital of the U.K. deserved and gave every other production due to come to Liverpool this year a very big headache and a huge hurdle to overcome.
