The phenomenon of the Big Bang might well debated and appreciated scientifically in all senses of what drives the Cosmos, however the even bigger bang that accompanies The Treatment as they add barrels of powder to the pile and light the short fuse of anarchic Rock which comes blasting over the space between artist and happily blasted listener, is one that is immediate, satisfying and much more appealing to those with the rebel in their soul and the composed rage of a naturally inquisitive human being thrust neatly in the hearts.

The Treatment, Buffalo Summer And Massive To Play In Liverpool’s East Village Arts Centre This October.

Having recently played to a bursting-at-the-seams tent at this year’s Download Festival, part of a lengthy run taking in major European events and key supports (Alter Bridge, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, etc.), The Treatment have confirmed a second run of U.K. headline dates in support of current studio album, Running With The Dogs.

Prior to this tour, the Cambridge rockers will release a new single/video; titled The Outlaw and taken from the aforementioned album, this live track has been remixed by U.S. producer Bob Marlette (Rob Zombie, Airbourne, Black Stone Cherry, etc.), and will come with a previously unreleased bonus track.

Cambridge in the annals of music is not always noted for its association with the heavier side of Rock. The city which stands beside Oxford as the powerhouses and symbols of the English University system is more at home with being the birthplace of Progressive Rock giants Pink Floyd and of the late Syd Barrett, pop icons such as Olivia Newton John and the formation of Katrina and The Waves also feature heavily in the thoughts of those trying to work out how musically the city’s heritage is interwoven with the rest of the country.
