No matter how hard people within certain professions try, what they see whilst they are holding communities together, stopping cities from becoming zones overrun by fear, hate, damnation, they can never truly see the sparkle of a day without something reminding them that underneath it all the spectre of humanity’s more base instincts will rise to the surface and threaten to pour oil over small fires burning, will make any compulsion to sing one that becomes a mumble of forgotten promises in front of the paying audience.

Everything we do leaves a footprint in history, it is not just the so-called interesting characters of our time, the thought of as important, each one of has the potential to change the future with a single action, a smile in the right place to a person who may be contemplating a darker path, a word out of place due to anger can set in motion a war, falling in love across man-made boundaries can lead to a death of our making; that footprint in the sands of time does not discriminate, we all have the ability to effect the way our footprint is seen.

If you are going to give your audience a fright then one sure fire way is to relate to their most basic fears, the ordinary phobia made terrifying, by ramping up the size and the possibility of the dread, the audience understands that whilst the science behind it may seem a bit of a non-starter, at least it grabs your attention enough to be memorable.

Paris is the city of many dreams, it whispers across the Channel and throughout Europe like a tempting lover, slowly cocking its finger, begging that you come armed with flowers and an open mind. Together with knowing full well that the first time you lay eyes on sights such as Sacre Coeur, the Moulin Rouge, the magnificence of the Eiffel Tower and the haunting gothic nature of Notre-Dame, Paris will capture the heart and have you professing love, even if the word is an alien as the thought of not having the stomach to try the gastronomic delights on offer in April in Paris.
