One way to ensure that the dystopian future of policing never happens is to ensure we find ways to ridicule it, that we mock it with intelligence, that we pour scorn on every circuit, and ask the those with the means to sow the seeds of derision, the artists with keen eye and sharp observation skills, to portray the need for AI in certain walks of responsible life to be curtailed.

You may feel at times like a fish out of water, a nobody masquerading as a human being, attempting to be interesting, trying your best to get through life and not fouling up to the point where you become a social embarrassment, where everybody disowns you or finds ways to shout obscenities at you; even if you did your best to be liked, to be on the side of angels.

Heracles would have perhaps laboured in vain to understand to the 21st Century condition of false self pride and murderous intent that seems to be more prevalent than at any time in history, especially it seems in the academic halls of Oxford, to the point where he might have got in touch with Sisyphus and asked if it was possible to balance a collection of rocks on top of Everest for a while, than ever help the Thames Valley Police solve crimes in the area.
