‘Female Artist of the Year’, Natalie McCool, Announces Autumn Tour Which Starts In Liverpool.

To catch Natalie McCool on stage is one of those moments that makes life worth living and now the superb musician, who recently was awarded ‘Female Artist of the Year’ at the Liverpool Music Awards 2013, has announced a new U.K. tour for this Autumn which kicks off at The Kazimier in Liverpool on November 7th.

Natalie McCool spent her childhood years spent drawing together a fine fabric of influences from Jeff Buckley, Cocteau Twins, PJ Harvey & The Stone Roses, she rose up, and with a daggers aim, unleashed a formidable body of work – an enthralling sonic panorama that dislocates you into its gravity: at times controversial; yet always delivered with absolute conviction.

Liverpool Music Awards Announce That Award-Winning Singer/Actor, Melanie Chisholm, To Present Award At Ceremony.

The inaugural Liverpool Music Awards are only a couple of weeks away and yet the team behind this unique event have managed to pull out yet another surprise for those attending this must go to event. Alongside The Wombats, Liz McClarnon and Esco Williams, former Spice Girl and singer/actor in her own right Mel C has announced she will be appearing to present one of the awards at the ceremony on Saturday November 17th.

Melanie has just finished a 21-date arena tour of the U.K. and Ireland, performing as Mary Magdalene in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. She says: “I loved being back in Liverpool and am really excited to be part of the first ever Liverpool Music Awards”.

Guests And Presenters Announced For Inaugural Liverpool Music Awards.

The inaugural Liverpool Music Awards are taking place next month at The Dome on Renshaw Street and it has been announced that chart-topping band Lawson and Liverpool indie stars The Wombats will be appearing as two of the acts at the prestigious event.

The red-carpet event, hosted by Radio 2 D.J. Janice Long, will also see performances from X Factor finalist Craig Colton and M.O.B.O. Unsung Act award winner Esco Williams, Mark Simpson, the first person ever to win both the B.B.C.’s Young Composer and Young Musician titles in the same year along with Liverpool legend Ian Prowse, Cold Shoulder and the Sense of Sound Choir.
