GamesCom 2014 is extremely important for Sony as while they are clearly in a position of dominance regarding the next-gen (or shall we finally call them new-gen consoles); Sony really need to keep that momentum rolling into 2015 to further continue the PS4’s successful start and to stave off any advances from Microsoft; therefore I predict that the PS3 will not have much stage time, beyond a price cut to make the PS3 more appealing following the successful launch of the PS4.
