Samurai Warriors 4-II (PS Vita). Game Review.

Samurai Warriors 4-II is a third-person musou hack and slack action role playing game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita with compatibility for PlayStation TV, while also releasing on PS4 and PS3 which began as a spin-off of the Dynasty Warriors series in 2004 when the first game released on PS2. A PSP port titled Samurai Warriors: State of War was released in late 2005 in Japan and early 2006 in America which was followed by a sequel released on the PS2 in 2006 and received a remake on PS3 and Vita in 2013. Samurai Warriors 3 was released on PS3 in February 2011 and PSP a year later and Samurai Warriors 4 released on Vita, PS4 and PS3 in 2014 with Samurai Warriors 4-II released 11 years after the game which started the series.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 (PS Vita), Game Review.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 is a third-person musou actionrole playing game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita with compatibility for PlayStation T.V., while also releasing on PS4 and PS3. One Piece is a series of Japanese manga stories written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda having been serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since July 19th 1997 in which chapters have been compiled into at least 78 standalone Tankobon volumes centred upon the adventurous life of the lead character Monkey D. Luffy. One Piece is incredibly successful having sold over 300 million copies making it the best-selling manga in history, while having an even further outreach with an anime television series airing over 700 episodes in Japan since 1999 as well as releasing numerous novels, films, soundtrack albums, trading card games and videogames.

Battlefield Hardline: Robbery DLC review. X Box.

In the downloadable content for Battlefield Hardline: Robbery players will be seeing old and new guns added to the game. Not only do premium members get new weapons to play with but guns have been added to the base game as well. Premium Members get access to more of these weaponry and gadgets. For the base guns there will be the FAMAS assault rifle for the operator class, there is the MP7 Sub Machine Gun and powerful M1 carbine which are both available for all classes. For the professional class players they will see the M82. 416 semi-automatic rifle, for the enforcer there is the SAIGA .12 semi-automatic shotgun, for the operator players see the F2000 and the RPK-12 for the criminals and the MDC for the cops and the FN57 pistol. Three new gadgets are also added to the operators’ class which are a gas launcher, the fire hazard mask making fire hazards easy to bypass and the passenger first aid to heal players in vehicles. With finally the addition of a one hit kill thrown knife.

Game Review: Until Dawn (PS4)

Until Dawn is a horror game available from retail stores and for download from the PlayStation Store exclusively for the PS4. The game was originally announced at Gamescom 2012 as a PS3 exclusive which was to support the PlayStation Move motion controller in a first-person perspective; despite a 2013 release window the game remained unreleased and was feared to have been cancelled until developer Supermassive Games clarified that it was still actively in development which was proved true at Gamescom 2014 when Until Dawn was re-revealed as a PS4 exclusive.

Mad Max (PS4), Game Review.

Mad Max is an open-world third-person action adventure game available from retail stores and for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4. The legacy of Mad Max began in 1979 upon the release of the first Mad Max film followed in quick succession by two sequels, forming a trilogy created by George Miller and Byron Kennedy, launching Mel Gibson’s and directed by George Miller, while a further sequel titled Mad Max: Fury Road was released in 2015 with Tom Hardy taking over the lead role and George Miller reprising his directing duties.

2013: Infected Wars (PS Vita), Game Review.

2013: Infected Wars is a third-person action adventure shooter game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita with compatibility for PlayStation T.V. The release is Action Mobile Games’ debut game having originally released for iOS in November 2013 and now making their debut on PlayStation Vita.

Ultratron (PS4/PS3/PS Vita), Game Review.

Ultratron is a retro arcade twin-stick shooter game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. The game is a spiritual successor to Robotron 2084 and is certainly inspired by the games from the era of the classic retro arcade shooters of the 1980s.

The story revolves around the last human in the universe being killed by evil killer robots with nothing but bad intentions and must be stopped, although the only thing standing in the way of their plans for universal domination is the last remaining humanoid droid.

Broken Age (PS4/PS Vita), Game Review.

Broken Age is a story driven point-and-click third-person adventure puzzle game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4 and PS Vita. Broken Age is the first graphic adventure game from Tim Schafer in 16 years who is known for his work on such classic games within the genre as Day of the Tentacle and Psychonauts. He was the project lead on the original release of Grim Fandango which he stated cost around $3 million to develop and he also lead the project of remastering the game with Double Fine Productions. It has been quite a long time since Broken Age began as a Kickstarter campaign from February 9th 2012 looking for crowd funding which was so successful in how it was received by audiences that the campaign funded the initial figure of $400,000 in just over 8 hours; eventually greatly surpassing it to reach an astounding funding total of $3,336,371 by the middle of March 2012 from a total of 87,142 backers.

Game Review: Fluster Cluck (PS4).

Fluster Cluck is a twin-stick shooter game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4 and is a fusion of multiple genres as it is a cross between an arcade and party game with a twin-stick variation, while providing a humorous spin on both genres.
