No Need To Walk 500 Miles To See The Proclaimers This August, Just Visit Warrington Parr Hall.

Everyone’s favourite Scottish twins will be calling at Warrington on Sunday 4th August and tickets are on sale now.

It has been 32 years since folk duo Craig and Charlie Reid, otherwise known as The Proclaimers, emerged; since then, their enduring appeal across generations has carved a niche where pop, folk, new wave and punk collide.

The emotional honesty, political fire, wit and singalong raucousness of their songs and their extensive touring has enlightened has entertained fans around the world.

The pair have even inspired a musical, the play and film – Sunshine on Leith.

The musical had its fourth U.K. run from April to June last year, with its biggest production to date by West Yorkshire Playhouse.

2018 also marked the 30th anniversary since the release of the Sunshine on Leith album and in August saw The Proclaimers add to their magnificent songbook with the release of their 11th studio album Angry Cyclist.

Following their sell-out tour across the U.K. last year, The Proclaimers will be back on the road this year with appearances in Reykjavik and Singapore, before touring New Zealand and Australia, followed by several festivals throughout the summer.
