Neil Campbell Launches His New Album, After The Flood, At Liverpool’s Constellations This August.

Imagine if the world was almost destroyed and there were just a few survivors left. With the goal of building a new positive world from the wreckage of the past, what sort of music would surviving musicians make?

After the Flood is a conceptual instrumental band hailing from Liverpool, featuring guitarist/composers Neil Campbell (Bulbs/Perri and Neil/Neil Campbell Collective) and Marty Snape (Mighty Zeb/Bulbs/The Hat Band), along with Roger Gardiner (Dead Poppies) on Overwater bass and Norwegian ace Viktor Nordberg on drums.

The band create a pan-global acoustic-based music where each musician is an equal part of the whole, drawing on minimalism, folk music, progressive rock, African, Indian and other indigenous musical styles.

The band’s new 11 track album After the Flood is released on Friday 13th July and is available at https://neilcampbell.bandcamp.com/album/after-the-flood. On Thursday 2nd August, Liverpool venue Constellations has invited the band down to perform a special set in their outdoor Garden space, to mark the launch of this album.

Admission is free to the launch event and no tickets are required. The evening begins with doors at 7.30pm and with live music/performance following from around 8.30pm onwards.
