Seasick Steve Comes To Liverpool This November As Part Of Tour Celebrating New Album.

Seasick Steve, fresh from a fantastic performance at London’s Hyde Park (6th July), has announced the release of his new album, Can U Cook?, on the 28th September 2018.

Can U Cook? has been Steve mixing up all of his much-loved ingredients to deliver a fresh new record that’s full of sunshine, as well as being a good ol’ Seasick mix of boogie, blues, rock, Americana and folk-music.

Steve said, “Just seems there’s all kinds of sunshine and colours on this record. Maybe it’s because we made most of it down in Key West, Florida? Or maybe it had somethin’ to do with the happy hours at Conch Republic?…I swear!”

Produced and written by Seasick Steve, this will be Steve’s ninth studio album and was mostly recorded in a converted ice house on the dock in Key West, Florida.

Steve’s long-time drummer Dan Magnusson (a.k.a. Crazy Dan) is of course featured on the record, along with some amazing playing contributions from guitarist Luther Dickinson (North Mississippi Allstars). Luther is now part of the touring band for the forthcoming tour dates.

Can U Cook? is a sizzler of an album that Steve can’t wait to release: ˜It was made down south, –way down south, –as far south as you can go and still have your boots in America. Anyways, I luv it and I‘m hoping y’all like it too”.

Steve will be heading out on the road across Europe this Autumn in support of his new album and will be returning to the U.K. in November for his first full headline U.K. tour since 2015, playing in some venues he hasn’t been to before. Steve’s only headline show in 2016 was at The SSE Arena, Wembley.

With a clutch of fantastic new songs to hand and the rocking-est show you’ll see this year, Seasick Steve is raring to go, to deliver for his fans (old and new) wherever he goes around the world.

Tickets for Seasick Steve at the Liverpool Olympia are available from the Venue’s Box office.
