The Stranglers Announce 2016 Tour With The Alarm As Support.

One of the premier and most aurally exciting bands that Britain has ever produced have revealed that they will be once more touring in their usual fashion in the spring of 2016.

The Stranglers will head out on a U.K. tour throughout March and which will see the Men in Black showcase their legendary 1978 Black & White album in its chronological entirety during the set.

The 18 date itinerary kicks off in Perth on the 3rd and Inverness on 4th March before heading to one of the band’s spiritual homes in Liverpool on March 8th before heading to the 5,000 capacity Brixton Academy, a venue that the band last played 25 years ago.

The band that brought such classics as No More Heroes, Something Better Change, Peaches, Golden Brown, Norfolk Coast, Unbroken and Spectre of Love will also return to Salisbury, Folkstone and the group’s hometown of Guildford as part of the tour.

Support for the show will come from arguably one of the finest acts to ever come out of Wales in the form of The Alarm featuring Mike Peters, whose own pedigree and music is every bit as impressive as The Stranglers.

Not everything in life is Black & White and yet this will be a night in Black & White becomes a defining memory of 2016.

Tickets for all venues are on sale from Friday 18th September. Tickets for the Liverpool show are available to purchase from the Box office at the o2 Academy on Hotham Street.
