For the third year running, St Luke’s Church in Liverpool will host a day of music within its iconic walls. On Saturday 25th July, the Bombed Out Church, as well as other venues in the local area, will be showcasing some of the best local music around, as well as a tremendous headliner in this year’s Liverpool Calling.

Liverpool Calling has gone from strength to strength and from its initial debut in 2013, which saw local favourites, the legendary Amsterdam take the stage to great applause, and through to last year’s overwhelming day of music, which included Jimmy and The Revolvers, the Sundowners and The Southbound Attic Band and culminating in a atmospheric and mind blowing gig by Space, has not only raised awareness of some of the bands performing but also in the interest in the building in which is a symbol of what the city and its people endured during World War Two.

The Iconic war memorial, a testament to fortitude as well as hope, had been in the eye of speculators and developers in the intervening time but thanks to increased awareness of the building’s plight and very much in thanks to what Liverpool Calling has achieved so far, St. Luke’s Church is still able to host a night which has become very much part of the fabric of the local scene.

With Reverend and the Makers headlining the day and support coming from acts such as The Jackobins, Silent Sleep, Gold Jacks, Beans On Toast and Michael Bennett , as well as many more acts and venues to be announced, this is one day in the calendar not to miss.

Tickets are exclusively on sale from Seetickets for £20 and are available to purchase from http://www.seetickets.com/Event/liverpool-calling/various-liverpool-venues/854873.
