Follow the story of Annabelle and her grandmother Dolly and their heartfelt, amusing and often frustrating journey as they come to terms with the onset of Dolly’s dementia in Over The Garden Fence. Through this poignant narrative we examine the memories which have shaped Dolly’s life and had an important impact on those around her. It is a fast paced, uplifting and comical exploration into family, life and relationships that promotes an awareness of dementia that is accessible to all.
Haylo Theatre Company was founded in July 2013 by Hayley Riley and Louise Evans. Graduates from the University of Chester, having studied Drama and Theatre Studies, they met whilst working for a T.I.E company in Chester around five years ago and their friendship grew from there.
They have performed to several sell out shows in Manchester and Liverpool in both educational and theatrical venues.
They have already received funding from the Arts Council U.K. to develop the show for the future tour and worked with celebrated writer and director John Godber who was very supportive of their work.
This performance is on for just two nights.
