Royal Court Theatre And Writer Fred Lawless To Make Fifth Christmas Show For 2013.

Following on from the phenomenal success of their current production, the sensational A Nightmare on Lime Street, the Royal Court Theatre are taking the extraordinary step of putting tickets on sale for their 2013 Christmas show on a year in advance.

This time, writer Fred Lawless and the gang will be back in a show called The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Fazakerley.

The writer of the last four smash hit Royal Court Christmas shows (Merry Ding Dong, Scouse Pacific, Little Scouse On The Prairie and A Nightmare On Lime Street) is back once again with a Close Encounter of the Royal Court kind, that will make Star Wars look like a primary school nativity.

Fred Lawless is delighted to be back and said, “I’m absolutely thrilled to have been asked to write what will be my fifth successive Christmas show for the Royal Court. I’ve already started work on the script and I’m confident that people who have been to see my previous Christmas shows will really enjoy it.”

Kevin Fearon, the show’s producer, “We can’t wait to get started, Fred did such a good job on this year’s show, as always, that we started talking about 2013. The cast is still to be decided but we will have the usual mix of great Liverpool actors and musicians. Now we have got the title, Fred will work on the script and we will see what characters emerge.”

The Hitchhiker’s Guide To Fazakerley runs from Friday 22 November 2013 to Saturday 11 January 2014 and tickets are available from £14. Tickets and information for all productions are available from www.royalcourtliverpool.com or on 0870 787 1866. Tickets go on sale from Friday 14th December.
