Orange Room, Always Get My Way. Single Review.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating * * * *

Following in a long line of great musicians and bands to come out of Australia comes Orange Room and their fantastic debut single Always Get My Way. The four young men may have swapped the climate and leisure life of a country renowned for its great guitar riffs and unceasing brilliant rock for the cold dreary shores of Britain but by making this choice they have done themselves a huge favour and also the rock/indie fans of the U.K.

The two songs that feature on the single, the aforementioned Always Get My Way and Noise & Confusion not only rock the foundations off the Sydney Opera House but have a good stab at shaking apart the Liverpool scene that they have come to be part of.

The four members of the band have put a lot of effort into this recording and the toil, sweat and industry have more than paid off as the songs are more than good enough to be played over and over again on the radio and internet.

Always Get My Way harks back to a time when singles had an imagination and were able to stand alone from an album. It is rare in the 21st Century for a single to be able to do this without straying into the realms of a pop-infested, pop-mogul, sing-a-long.

Orange Room are certainly one for the future and Always Get My Way is just the start.
