This Christmas there is a new show in town, bought to life by Life in Theatre Productions – creators of the sell-out and critically-acclaimed musical The Last 5 Years, and David Mamet’s comedy, A Life In The Theatre, and Mam! I’m ‘ere! The Christmas Disco Musical! promises to be one of the biggest theatrical events of the festive season.

Producer of Mam! I’m ‘ere! The Christmas Disco Musical! Stephen Fletcher, has bought together some of Liverpool’s finest actors for a festive treat that will be jam-packed with classic Disco hits in a venue of incredible distinction.

The cast includes some of Liverpool’s favourite theatre faces of the last few years and the mainstays of some of the great comedy, drama and musicals the city has had the pleasure to claim as its own. Rachel Rae (Little Scouse on the Prairie), Eithne Browne (Tartuffe, Brick Up the Mersey Tunnels), Alan Stocks (Little Scouse on the Prairie, Flint Street Nativity), Andrew Schofield (Misery, Council Depot Blues), Helen Carter (No Wise Men, The Last 5 Years), Paul Duckworth (Waiting For Brando, Reds and Blues) and Keddy Sutton (Stags and Hens, The Games) join Stephen Fletcher (Little Scouse on the Prairie, The Last 5 Years, Lennon) in bringing this story to the stage.

Sally (Rachel Rae) was abandoned as a tiny baby of her Dad’s doorstop and now 23 years on, she is getting married to her childhood sweetheart, Si (Stephen Fletcher), in the ‘picturesque’ setting of her Dad’s failing caravan site, and longs to have her Mum alongside her for her special day.

After digging into her Dad’s little black book and by teasing out stories from her Dad’s best mates, she has narrowed her search down to three very different women from his past (Eithne Browne, Helen Carter and Keddy Sutton).

The trap is set by Sally as each women believes they’ve won a mystery, all-expenses paid, glamorous mini-break away, the three ‘Mums’ find themselves walking onto a creaky caravan site, greeted by an old flame some of them would rather forget.

A festive story, a wedding, cracking music and some of the best-known actors in Liverpool make up a night out not to be missed.

Mam! I’m ‘ere! The Christmas Disco Musical! Is on at The Dome-Grand Central on Renshaw Street from the 7^th December to 12^th January 2013.

Doors open for the evening performance at 6.30 and starts at 7.30. Matinee performances are on the 8^th, 13^th, 15^th, 20^th, 22^nd, 27^th and 29^th December and 3^rd, 5^th, 10^th and 12^th January. Matinee performances start at 2.30pm.
