New Model Army have gone through so many different genres they could almost appeal to every live music lover,

Whether it is the rock/folk era that the fans like or the early punk days, during which they enjoyed critical success, every taste was appeared to be catered for.

Touring on the back of their new studio album, Today is a Good Day, NMA mainstay and frontman Justin Sullivan wasted no time getting down to the business of making as much noise and good music as possible.

The guys opened up with the fantastic States Radio from the new album, followed by Get Me Out from 1990’s Impunity.

Drummer Robert Heaton was on fine form as he thundered and kicked his way through the songs that have struck a strong chord with a generation of fans who cheered and sang with such force that at times it was like having five times the size of the audience in the building.

The main set was brought to a close with Wired from the album High and the angry Wonderful Way to Go from Strange Brotherhood.

The band finished off with one of their older hits, I Love the World from 1989’s Thunder and Consolation as a tremendous encore.
