Satire and parody are the right of the human soul to cause disrespectful veneration to the public ideal of a situation or a person. It is the active ingredient in comedy that highlights the absurdity of human detail and experience in such a way that whilst obvious, it can offer relief from the sterile rule book that insists on ego driven reverence to all who are considered our betters and unequal’s.

Should we stare into the abyss knowing that the monster that looks back with sorrow is on the side we have taken in the battle, or do we face the war on our own knowing we strode the high line between two opposing monstrous factions, that He Who Fights With Monsters is divided by fate and the fury of a future as yet unknown.

Many times you may have found yourself wondering what it would be like to see your favourite play acted out on television, not in a sense that television sanitises it, completely takes over and muddles up the magic on stage but to catch it raw, completely as it is with all its minor fluffs and possible dropped lines; would it give it a different perspective, would it generate more income for the theatre world which is stretched by budget constraints and a typical government that doesn’t care about the arts, just the bottom line.
