From Blood Brothers To Bloody Macbeth As Three Renowned Stars Of The Hit Musical Are Announced To Be Part Of The Epstein Theatre’s March Show.

Following two critically acclaimed seasons of Shakespeare, the award-winning Daniel Taylor Productions returns to The Epstein Theatre this spring with a production of Macbeth that reunites three stars of the international smash-hit musical Blood Brothers.

Following rave reviews for 2018’s productions of Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Daniel Taylor Productions is back at the Hanover Street venue with the Bard’s most brilliant and bloody tale from Thursday 7th – Saturday 16th March.

Producers are excited to announce Sean Jones and Warwick Evans will play Macbeth and King Duncan respectively, along with Daniel Taylor who will both produce and direct the production.

This hilarious jukebox country musical, written by Emma Culshaw and David Paul and directed by Sylvie Gatrill, comes to St. Helens Theatre Royal from Tuesday 4th – Saturday 8th June.

The shows stellar cast has today been announced and includes: Radio City’s Leanne Campbell, Blood Brothers’ Daniel Taylor, Benidorm’s Crissy Rock and BBC All Together Now’s Divina De Campo.

Everyman Announce Further Casting For Major Production Of Sondheim’s Sweeny Todd.

Actors announced to join Liam Tobin who plays Sweeney in Nick Bagnall’s production.

The Everyman & Playhouse have announced further casting for associate director Nick Bagnall’s anarchic production of the musical Sweeney Todd.

Former EastEnders star Kacey Ainsworth will play the role of Mrs Lovett. Known for her performance as Little Mo in the soap, Kacey is currently in her fourth series of the I.T.V. detective drama Grantchester. This will be Kacey’s first production at the Everyman.

Double Bill For Comedy Group The Noise Next Door As They Embark On A Voyage To Chester’s Storyhouse Theatre.

The U.K.’s premier improv comedy troupe The Noise Next Door bring their live show to Storyhouse for the very first time this spring.

The Noise Next Door have already taken the comedy world by storm, and now they are heading to Chester with a double bill for all the family on Wednesday 20th February 2019.

First up is The Noise Next Door: At Sea, a family show at 2pm. This will be followed at 8pm by The Noise Next Door: Remix, a new show for adults. Tickets are on sale now.

Actor And Strictly Winner Joe McFadden To Star In A Brand-New Production Of Cult Classic Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert.

Mark Goucher and first-time producer Jason Donovan have today announced that actor and Strictly Come Dancing winner Joe McFadden will star in their brand-new production of the much-loved glittering hit musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

The show, which was announced last year, will tour the U.K. and Ireland from September, playing the Liverpool Empire from 11th to 16th November.

It marks Donovan’s first time as a producer, having performed in the cast of the original West End production and two subsequent U.K. tours. The producing team is completed by Gavin Kalin and Matthew Gale.

Everyman & Playhouse Celebrate Record-Breaking Festive Season, As Theatres Reveal The Title To The 2019 Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto.

To celebrate a record-breaking festive period, Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse Theatres are sprinkling some extra panto cheer across Liverpool, by revealing the 2019 Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto at the Everyman.

Following huge demand for The Snow Queen, with 95% of seats sold, the theatres are proud to announce the return of regular writers Sarah A Nixon and Mark Chatterton for this year’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto – Sleeping Beauty.

The announcement comes after a hugely successful Christmas for the Everyman & Playhouse. The two theatres welcomed over 48,000 people through their doors for The Snow Queen and Spymonkey’s A Christmas Carol.

Fascinating Aida’s Liza Pulman comes to The Epstein Theatre on Friday 3rd May as part of a new U.K. tour for 2019 after playing to packed houses across the country in 2018, which included three sell-out shows at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s theatre The Other Palace in Victoria, and two sell-out performances at Wilton’s Music Hall.

The latest dates will also include a run at The Lyric Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue in London’s West End later this year.
