Politics, Promises And Predators – Local Young People Get Their Voices Heard At The Unity Theatre.

Award-winning Theatre Company 20 Stories High presents a vibrant double bill of two new plays at The Unity Theatre, Hope Street this July.

The local charity has been working with young people from excluded communities since 2006 and is growing from strength the strength sticking firmly to their belief that “Everybody’s got a story to tell, and their own way of telling it”.

In a first ever double bill for the company, both the company’s young groups will perform at the Unity Theatre and the plays have a distinctively political flavour.

The inimitable Caz ‘n’ Britney, (Gillian Hardie and Keddy Sutton) return to the Unity Theatre with Mis Les between January 7th and Saturday 17th after their sell out stretch last year in Scottie Road The Musical, and more recently the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Liverpool’s renowned Tmesis Theatre are proud to announce the return of their most innovative and chilling one woman show, Wolf Red to Unity Theatre this month.

Fresh from the huge success of Physical Fest, Tmesis Theatre will return to Unity Theatre on Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th June with their captivating original production, Wolf Red, with tickets on sale now.

Devised by Chris Fittock and Tmesis Theatre Wolf Red is the dark and compelling story of a woman held captive, deep in the woods, by a predator of perhaps both her mind and body. Exploring the darkest limits of human nature, this skilful, physical performance from Tmesis Theatre’s artistic director, Elinor Randle will mesmerise audiences with her remarkable and chilling transformation.
