To want to escape the pressures of modern life is completely understandable, the way the world is at the best of times it’s hard to fit in, it’s demanding on the soul to try and keep up with the ever changing and fast, frenetic pace of it all and it’s no wonder that we are urged to find, to discover that happy place in which all our troubles can be forgotten for a while, in which making sense of our own identity is the main priority.

Award Winning YEP Take To The Playhouse Studio Stage This November.

Following their hedonistic version of The Bacchae in the summer, Young Everyman Playhouse (YEP) invites audiences to fall in to The Wonderful World of Dissocia as they present Antony Neilson’s dazzlingly colourful play in the Playhouse Studio from Tuesday 4th to Saturday 7th November.

Lisa Jones is on a journey. It’s a colourful and exciting off-kilter trip in search of one lost hour that has tipped the balance of her life. The inhabitants of the wonderful world she finds herself in – Dissocia – are a curious blend of the funny, the friendly and the brutal.
