The idea that anything other features or familial quirks is automatically inherent can be quite a galling proposition, it lacks the belief of progression, that just because one person was, for example, a world leader of their chosen sport, does not mean that their offspring will hold any type of talent for the career their parent was able to pursue.

Life is a circus that is often played out to the tune of someone else’s calling, rebel in any shape of form, become a thorn in the side of authority, and you end up paying the heaviest of penalties, whether you deserve them or not. To rebel against the system is everyone’s right, find your own tune to dance to, but when it goes wrong, there is nothing you can do but blame yourself.

It feels awkward to pull upon a thread which involves Channing Tatum, an actor who can spellbind an audience as Burt Gurney in Hail, Ceasar!, and show absolute aloofness and brilliant cinematic reserve when required in Foxcatcher, and yet to whom will willingly fall back to alleged type on films such as Magic Mike, Jupiter Ascending and White House Down.

The world hangs in a deadly balance, the world’s mightiest heroes are being reined in by their own kind and their friends and divisions and sides are being forged and broken; the world is used to such fun and games, countries routinely flip in their pursuit of self interest and government greed but to do this to those charged with protecting the planet, it all gets very murky indeed.
