The Christmas pantomime, one of the great cornerstones of life and nowhere in the world really captures the point or the reason of it as much as the British, it takes sheer guts to perform so many shows to an audience to whom many are arguably having their first taste of theatre, of the slapstick fun that is at times extraordinarily paced and presented and the fun that goes with it. It is the possibly the finest of traditions and Aladdin at the Epstein Theatre is no different and one that is all too enjoyable, no matter the age of the person in the seat.

Natasha Hamilton And Rory Taylor Head Cast As Smash Hit Rent Comes To Liverpool.

The full cast for Rent – 20th Anniversary Concert has now been announced. Leading the cast is West End star and Atomic Kitten Natasha Hamilton, who will be joined by Superstar runner up Rory Taylor.

The show last toured the U.K. in April this year, performing 10 dates to rave reviews and due to overwhelming public demand the show is back for a second run. Rent – 20th Anniversary Concert will be playing 16 national dates this Autumn including Blackpool, Nottingham, Oxford, Edinburgh, Dublin and Newcastle before closing in Liverpool on 30th November.

This year the Empire theatre in Liverpool have pulled out all the stops to provide families, couples and any one who just wants the chance to relieve childhood by booing loudly at the villain of the piece at this year’s Pantomime. The line up who will be donning the tights and slapping thighs will include the versatile Les Dennis whose C.V. reads like a catalogue of comedy characters, Atomic Kitten member Natasha Hamilton as Peter Pan and the legend that is the Fonz from Happy Days: Henry Winkler.
