Sometimes, occasionally, as rare as a night in which the stars seem to come out and take a bow for the beauty they provide and in which the moon trespasses on the Sun’s heavenly position in the sky, something just catches the attention of a collection of musicians and they give a performance so exciting, so unreal that even the moon knows it’s time to go hiding in the moment of eclipse.

Liverpool’s Little Atoms To Interview Jamie Carragher And Lord Heseltine As Part Of Their In Conversation Series.

Little Atom Productions is delighted to announce the next two guests in the successful Liverpool ‘In Conversation’ Series.

Continuing the signature format, which sees guests who are natives of or have a strong connection to the city interviewed live on stage and their five favourite pieces of music performed by five separate live acts, the next two guests in the series are both hugely important to the city but for very different reasons; Liverpool F.C. legend Jamie Carragher and ex-‘Minister for Merseyside’, Lord Michael Heseltine.

It is quite something to see a master story teller, a Queen of Crime, on stage being interviewed by arguably a man whose passion for Liverpool, his appetite for culture and ability to hold an audience’s attention singles him out as one of the finest in the city.

Ian Prowse, Gig Review. Rodewald Suite, Philharmonic Hall, Liverpool.

Liverpool Sound and Vision Rating 9/10

For the seventh successive year, Ian Prowse stood upon the tight but much loved stage nestled in the heart of the Rodewald Suite at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall. Armed with his guitar, a few special guest musicians and the biting wit and emotion that makes him stand out as one of Merseyside’s favourite sons, started work at tearing down the walls, the ceiling in readiness for the refurbishment that is due on the grand old lady soon with a set of music and local acerbic passion which will be hard to match during the year.
