Badland: Game of the Year Edition (PS Vita/PS4/PS3), Game Review.

Badland: Game of the Year Edition is a side scrolling physics focused action adventure puzzle platform game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita, PS4 and PS3. Badland was originally released on iOS platforms in April 2013 and go on to having over 20 million players, become an award winning game by achieving Apple’s 2013 iPad Game of the Year Award and the 10th annual International Mobile Gaming Awards Grand Prix Award in 2014, followed by a Game of the Year Edition release for PS4, PS3 and portably for Vita in May 2015 in America and Europe.

Riptide GP2 (PS4), Game Review.

Riptide GP2 is a water based racing game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4. Vector Unit was founded in December 2007 by Ralf Knoesel and Matt Small with a team comprising of just four members including themselves. Vector Unit’s focus is clearly on racing games as their first game released in July 2010 in the form of Hydro Thunder Hurricane which was followed by Riptide GP in 2011, Shine Runner and Beach Buggy Blitz in 2012, Riptide GP2 releasing initially in 2013 on iOS and Android platforms and Beach Buggy Racing in 2014 with Beach Buggy Racing and Riptide GP2 making their home console debuts on PS4 in June 2015.

Super Motherload (PS4), Game Review.

Super Motherload is an action adventure puzzle platform game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4 and PS3. XGen Studios was established in 2001 in Edmonton, Canada and have since developed and released numerous games for console, mobile and Flash including Defend Your Castle on WiiWare and the Flash game Motherload which is the prequel to Super Motherload.

The story is written by comic book writer Kurtis Wiebe and includes multiple storylines which branch out based upon the choices of the player and even result in multiple game endings with the story revolving around an alternate Cold War era set on Mars.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number (PS4), Game Review.

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is a top-down 2D action shooter game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. This new game is the long awaited sequel to the sleeper hit Hotline Miami which was a success with critics and players alike, while the original earned awards and nominations for its gritty yet nostalgic gameplay which Wrong Number attempts to further improve upon.

Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Havoc DLC (PS4), Game Review.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare – Havoc is downloadable content for the first-person shooter game available from the PlayStation Store for the PS4. Havoc provides downloadable content for the multi-million selling Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare with the addition of the much requested Exo Zombies game mode and expanding the roster of multiplayer maps.

LEGO Ninjago: Shadow Of Ronin (PS Vita), Game Review.

LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin is an action adventure platform game available from retail stores and for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita. The game originated in 2011 with a pilot film and a range of LEGO sets which became so successful that it launched its own large scale LEGO brand with over 100 LEGO sets, multiple games including the prequel to Shadow of Ronin in the form of Summer 2014’s Nindroids on Vita, while there are numerous graphic novels, a LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu television series and films taking the franchise considerably further into the future to even greater success.

Flame Over (PS Vita), Game Review.

Flame Over is an isometric action roguelike twin-stick fire-fighting game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS Vita. Laughing Jackal was established in 2005 having released a variety of games for the PlayStation Minis range before moving onto the PS3 with Cubixx HD followed by the entertaining Hungry Giraffe, the addictive OMG HD Zombies and their latest game Flame Over for the Vita which was initially revealed at GamesCom 2013.

Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition (PS3/PS Vita), Game Review.

Duke Nukem 3D: Megaton Edition is a first-person shooter game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS3 and PS Vita.Thegame is an enhanced version of the collection including the retro classic Duke Nukem 3D which was originally released on January 29th 1996. Subsequent add on packs having been brought to the PS3 and PS Vita by Abstraction Games and Devolver Digital with the game and add on packs originally developed by the legendary 3D Realms who have been developing, publishing, producing and licensing videogames as early as 1986 under their original company name Apogee Software with the first appearance of the character being in the side scrolling platformer Duke Nukem which was released on July 1st 1991 for the P.C.

Episode 2 is the conclusion of Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse which continues the undeniable legacy of the Broken Sword saga since its timeless inception on the original PlayStation in 1996.

Super Stardust Ultra is an arcade twin-stick shooting game available for download from the PlayStation Store for the PS4. The origins of Stardust date back to 1993 when a Finnish studio called Bloodhouse had their first game Stardust published for the Amiga 500, while another Finnish studio called Terramarque had their first game Elfmania published for the Amiga in 1994 with both Finnish studios Bloodhouse and Terramarque joining forces in 1995 to create Housemarque which produced their first game together in 1996 in the form of Super Stardust for the P.C.
