Radio has come a long way since its early days. It has seen many advancements, dedicated music channels, digital, analogue being banished to the wasteland of history but still lingering on coughing and spluttering in a superhuman effort to keep a vessel of the past open. Pop stars come and go and in some cases come back again and of course the advent of talk radio, the small bubble in which people can lose their rag at a voice a hundred miles away and confess all to an aural-voyeuristic nation. It seems nothing is off limits and when it comes to Sex and the Suburbs, everybody has a story to tell and an opinion to express.

Tell Me On A Sunday, Theatre Review. Liverpool Empire Theatre.

Cast: Claire Sweeney.

Tell me on A Sunday is one of the most endearing and likeable musicals created by Andrew Lloyd Webber, whether it’s the addition of Don Black’s superbly written and well observed lyrics or the fact that almost everyone can resonate and identify with the girl on stage as she finds herself thrust into a life far from home, in a strange city, strange country with nothing but her sense of humour and the thought of meeting that one person who they can share their life with.

If you just want a one sentence or even a word to sum up Legally Blonde, then can I just say phenomenal, must see, brilliant, and every other platitude that you will no doubt see on billboards and in papers for this exceptional and heart-warming musical.
