The Ugly Sisters are running amuck at Hard-Up Hall, the evil step-mother has all under her spell and Buttons is infatuated with the most beautiful girl in all the land, things are never simple in Panto land and for Cinderella, the day is one where her life gets turned upside down and the story of her rags to riches existence becomes a tale of woe banished by charm.

Cinderella Returns To The Epstein Theatre As Calum Best, Beryl Marsden And Alison Crawford Named Amongst Star Cast For This Year’s Panto.

Celebrities, media moguls and movers and shakers in the city had a ball when LHK Productions whisked them to the launch of its dazzling, star-studded pantomime at The Epstein Theatre.

Producer Lee Kelly waved his magic wand and revealed his all-star cast who will perform in Cinderella this Christmas before treating them to a sneak preview of his spellbinding panto.

Returning to the Epstein Theatre for his fourth festive season, this year Lee’s line-up includes heartthrob Calum Best who makes his panto debut alongside much-loved Merseybeat legend, Beryl Marsden.

The Empire Theatre always has the reputation of hosting the most sumptuous and glistering pantomime productions and this year has been no exception as the cast for Cinderella provided a fantastic evening’s entertainment for the assembled audience.

The village of Stoneybroke and its love deprived prince are in need of good fortune and a princess to bring love to its desolate and poor people. They certainly don’t come any poorer than Baroness Hardup and her daughter.  It may be a fairytale but for those that go along to the St. Helens Theatre Royal to catch one of the classics of the panto season, the tremendous Cinderella, it will be impossible not to feel touched and elated at the grand piece of theatre on offer.

The Epstein Theatre has been up and running for just under a quarter of a season and already it has one of the top rated plays the city has had the pleasure to witness this year performed on its stage and now the acid test of the festive Pantomime, in the form of the much loved Cinderella, has made sure that the new theatre goes into 2013 with its head firmly held high and in fine exceptional spirits.

Liz McClarnon is a woman of many talents. Singer, actor, chef, soon to be author and this Christmas at the Empire Theatre in Liverpool she is going to give it a go as being the best Cinderella possible.
