Everyman Announce Cast For Rock ‘N’ Roll Panto The Little Mermaid.

Notorious dame Francis Tucker and master of mischief Adam Keast return for 2017.

This Christmas, the Everyman’s legendary rock ‘n’ roll panto takes a plunge into the sea as regular writers Sarah A Nixon and Mark Chatterton present their hilarious take on the famous tail of The Little Mermaid.

Featuring a cast of multi-talented actor musicians, the rock ‘n’ roll panto is a pantomime unlike any other, as audiences are led on a journey with singing, dancing, live music, entertainment and a couple of very fishy puns thrown in for good measure.

Riotous rock ‘n’ roll panto duo Adam Keast and Francis Tucker return to play the fabulously fierce panto dame princess Pearl and her chaotically cavalier lover Captain Nemo.

Joining Adam and Francis are returning panto performers Stephanie Hockley and national panto award-winner Tom Connor. L.I.P.A. graduate Stephanie plays the role of the beautiful Princess Marina who is followed by her loyal, but very forgetful sidekick Flounder, played by Tom.

Making his Everyman panto debut is Jamie Noar, who plays the role of the dashingly handsome Prince Hal. He’s joined by Danny Burns who returns from previous pantos including Beauty and the Beast and Rapunzel.

Playing the role of the evil Ivanna Golddig is Lucy Thatcher and joining Lucy are rock  ‘n’ roll panto debutants Imelda Warren-Green and Elizabeth Robin.

Actor and Musical Director for the production Greg Last completes the cast for this year’s panto, as he returns to get the Everyman auditorium up on their feet to the rock ‘n’ roll panto beat.

Francis Tucker said, “We’re taking the plunge for a rock ‘n’ roll party underneath the sea! We’ll be singing, dancing and laughing our way along a journey through the ocean. Expect some super sing a long songs, shallow jokes, deep belly laughs and plenty of water; it’s shrimply the best panto around.

Once again an autism friendly/relaxed performance will be available in the programme on Monday 15 January. There will also be a range of other performances for audience members with access needs including British Sign Language, captioned and audio described performances during the run.
