Countdown To The First Ever New Brighton Seaside Festival.

New Festival Brings Seaside Resort Alive With A Feast Of Live Music, Fabulous Food And Family Entertainment.

With the end of May coming swiftly over the horizon, the countdown is now on for a big, exciting attraction to sail into the shores of New Brighton.

There’s just over a week to go until the first ever New Brighton Seaside Festival will make a huge splash – transforming the town into one huge seaside extravaganza like no other. Coming to the Wirral resort this Spring Bank Holiday, the festival brings three days of seaside fun for everyone.

The festival takes place from Saturday 27th to Monday 29th May at the truly special location of Fort Perch Rock – close to the Marine Point leisure district – on the north-eastern tip of the Wirral Peninsula on the bay of Liverpool, where the River Mersey meets the Irish Sea.

Inspired by past successes such as ‘Farm Feast’ and the award-winning ‘Liverpool Loves’, organisers Orb Events have created a dynamic family feel festival that celebrates the hidden charm, culture and heritage of New Brighton whilst offering an invigorating and fresh programme of entertainment and activities for the whole area to get involved in.

Featuring delicious world cuisine from hand selected street food sellers, the best local musical talent and a fantastic array of family-friendly activities and entertainment… it’s a big day out you don’t want to miss.

Festival director, Debbie Boyd explained: “New Brighton was once a bustling seaside resort fondly remembered by people of all generations who enjoyed happy holidays there as a child or with their own children, from all over the UK and further afield. We want to recapture this halcyon feeling of family days out at the heart of The Wirral whilst celebrating this fantastic asset to the region, and encouraging people from far and wide to come and new memories again in New Brighton.”

The Festival begins at 10am each day from Saturday, May 27 to Monday, May 29. With a varied and interactive programme across three days, the weekend is guaranteed to put a spring in the step of family visitors for the Bank Holiday break – so book your tickets now but don’t forget your bucket and spade.

Ticket prices are £5 for Adults | £3 for Children | Under 3’s Go Free.
