What We Did Next Return This Winter With I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.

Liverpool theatre company What We Did Next return this winter with the witty musical I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. The show, which celebrates the mating game in our modern world, is being presented in a radically different way from what audiences will have seen before.

Audience members will be welcomed into the venue which has been transformed into what director Andrew Abrahamson describes as a ‘relationship dynamics seminar’. The entire musical will be presented in this immersive tongue-in-cheek format where the ‘seminar participants’ will be encouraged to share (sanitised!) snippets of their own lives whilst they move through a number of rooms as the play unfolds.

Director Andrew Abrahamson can’t wait to take audiences on a great adventure. “I’m so excited about the challenge that an immersive promenade performance brings. This performance is much more than a musical – it’s an entire experience”. The venue is the Age Concern building on Sir Thomas street and producer Ruth Dalton is pleased to be working with this charity. “The show explores how relationships change as we get older and it’s great to be able to use the offices of Age Concern to be able to highlight this”.

The evening includes the musical, food, drink and improvisation and will involve moving through different rooms which are all wheelchair accessible.

I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change runs from the 2nd to the 5th December 2015 with performances starting at 7pm at 5 Sir Thomas Street. Tickets are £17 adults, £14 concessions and are available via www.wwdn.co.uk/tickets
