The legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto Returns To The Everyman Theatre With Little Red Riding Hood: Howl Lotta Love.

This Christmas the legendary Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto is back at its spiritual home – the Everyman – with more music, mayhem and water than ever before. Little Red Riding Hood: Howl Lotta Love is sure to be the most raucous party in town with something for all ages. Gasp at the incredible costumes, be dazzled by the all singing, all dancing cast and rock out with the live band and the best axe man this side of the Deep Dark Woods. Little Red Riding Hood is at the Hope Street venue from Saturday 29th November 2014 to Saturday 17th January 2015.

Audience favourites Adam Keast and Francis Tucker rekindle their famous double-act, as Woody and his love interest Betty Berry, to the stage thrill and soak the crowd in equal measure. Following two years in Les Miserables in the West End, Nicky Swift is back as the fairy Poppy Petal.

After three years away, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto is set to truly be bigger and better thanks to the technical facilities of the new Everyman. Audiences will be treated to even more flying, water and special effects than ever before, all inside the Everyman’s famous three sided auditorium. You’ll also be able to see your fellow audience members dancing and get close to the action – just beware of the big bad wolf!

Jocasta Almgill plays our heroine Little Red who’ll have to use all her ninja moves and super skills to save Grandma from the evil intentions of Jonny Bower’s Wolferine. She’s sure to have some help from Skye, played by Sam Haywood who was seen as Aladdin at the Playhouse last year. Zita Frith, Balance De Winter, is back at the Everyman having appeared in the Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto in 2004 and 2005 while Jessica Dives, Tom Connor and Ben Jones join the mayhem for the first time.

Writers Sarah A. Nixon and Mark Chatterton said, “Rockin Red Riding Hood, the Rock and Roll panto, is bopping its way up the long and winding road to its all new, singing dancing, home at the Everyman. This time it’s Red who’s hungry like a wolf… It’s going to be big, bad, beautiful and bonkers.”

For the fourth successive year the Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto will include an autism friendly/relaxed performance. This year’s show will be staged on Monday 12th January. There will also be a range of British Sign Language, captioned and audio described performances throughout the run.

So dig out your party pants, break out the glitter and waive your flashing wand as the legendary rock ‘n’ roll panto is back to shake, rattle and roll the Everyman rafters once more!
