The Script Annouce U.K. Tour For 2015.

The Script have announced the news that their fans have been eagerly awaiting. In February 2015, the Irish three-piece will kick off an U.K. arena tour, starting in Glasgow on the 20th and which will come to Liverpool on Thursday 5th March. Tickets go on sale on Friday 26th September at 9.30am from gigsandtours.com or ticketmaster.co.uk. Tickets are priced at £27.50 and £35, plus booking fees, and fans will be limited to 6 per booking. The Script will also be joined by very special guest Labrinth.

In addition to these dates, The Script will announce exciting live plans for Summer 2015 in Ireland in the coming weeks. The tour announcement comes hot on the heels of the release their fourth album No Sound Without Silence. The album immediately shot to Number 1 on the U.K. iTunes chart, and is Top 10 in a further 42 countries.

The album follows the ultra-catchy top three smash hit Superheroes, which is currently the most played track at U.K. radio, and is play listed at Radio 1, Radio 2, Bauer and Capital FM. The video premiered earlier last month and has already picked up over five million views. Also this month, The Script played two sold out special, intimate shows – the first in their hometown at Dublin Castle, and the latter at London’s Roundhouse, as part of the iTunes Festival. The show can be streamed here (add link to watch gig).

The Script’s fourth album, No Sound Without Silence, is the sound of a band firing on all cylinders and channeling the momentum of their last, rocket-powered campaign. The trio of songwriters had so many ideas while touring last year, they were busting out of the specially built mobile recording studio they’d taken with them on the tour bus. They finished touring # 3 at the end of last year, took a scant couple of weeks off, then quickly re-entered their studios in London and Dublin to begin work on the highly anticipated No Sound Without Silence.

The Script have scored a huge amount of success globally – they have sold over 20 million records, and all three albums have been multi-platinum throughout the world. Hall Of Fame, the lead single from last album #3, was a worldwide number 1 single with over 5 million sales, 142 million Youtube views, and over 100 million Spotify plays. The Script have done especially well Stateside, where they have five Platinum singles and have sold over one million albums. Their forthcoming world tour starts in South Africa in January 2015, before hitting the U.K. the following month. Catch them whilst you can.
