LHK Productions returns in 2014 with their amazing celebration of Merseyside talent, One Night Only. After successful shows at the Liverpool Empire in 2010 and Southport Theatre & Warrington Parr Halls in 2011 the show will be making its way, due to popular demand, to the Epstein Theatre and The Atkinson this autumn.
One Night Only is a feel good variety performance with some of your favourite Merseyside personalities as the stars of the show. This must see production includes show-stopping numbers from the world of musical theatre which has All That Jazz and enough Razzle Dazzle to leave you wanting more than one night only.
The first performer confirmed for Liverpool’s show at the Epstein Theatre on Saturday 25th October is the legendary, Pauline Daniels. Famously known as Willy Russell’s favourite “Shirley Valentine”, Pauline has also graced the stage in roles such as Mama Morton in Chicago and Rose in Gypsy. Audiences are in store for a real treat as Pauline Daniels prepares to show off her more musical side for One Night Only!
Headlining at The Atkinson in Southport is the hugely popular actress and comedienne, Crissy Rock who will take to the stage on Friday 7th November. Born and bred in Liverpool, Crissy’s impressive career all began on Bob Monkhouse’s Opportunity Knocks. This led to stand up shows all over the country, an acting debut as Maggie Conlan in Ken Loach’s award-winning 1994 film Ladybird Ladybird and more recently a part in I.T.V. sitcom Benidorm as loud-mouthed hotel manageress Janey York.
The high energy performances in One Night Only include massive group numbers by the best of Merseyside’s stars of tomorrow who will showcase their talents in routines from popular musical theatre shows. After a two year absence, this musical extravaganza is sure to leave audiences in high spirits and with high hopes for more evenings just like this.
