Patrick Wolf To Perform At The Epstein Theatre in 2013.

With his recent performance as part of Liverpool’s Homotopia cited as one of the festival highlights, The Hope Street Agency & CAA bring back Patrick Wolf, one of the music industry’s leading troubadours, back to Liverpool as part of his 10th Anniversary Worldwide Acoustic Tour.

In a tour which sees him perform in some of the world’s most beautiful and iconic venues including the Epstein Theatre, Liverpool on Thursday 7th February and will see Patrick delve into his extensive back catalogue spanning 6 albums and numerous LP’s delivering an evening of acoustic reworking of some of his most breath-taking and acclaimed work.

Since building his first theremin at age 11, singer songwriter Patrick Wolf has gone from strength to strength. Combining classical instruments with electronic sampling to create sound that embraces the many facets of music – from traditional English and Irish folk to 80’s electronic pop Patrick succeeded in forging a music career through the old forgotten ways. From these humble beginnings Patrick has performed to crowds at Lovebox, Manchester Pride, Hop Farm and Glastonbury and performed alongside Florence Welch, Marianne Faithfull and the legendary Patti Smith. His latest release Sundark and Riverlight celebrates a landmark 10 years of musicianship.

Recognized for his dark and twisted avant-garde electro-folk sound; The Epstein will house a exceptional anniversary celebration where the usual electronics, the drums and the loud guitars will be ditched for delicately chosen acoustic instruments; ukulele, dulcimer, piano, harp and violin, all of which will demonstrate the craftsmanship of Patrick himself. Supported by the bare-bones of an orchestra the result is a beautifully constructed, enchanting heart-stopper of a show which will introduce you to a whole new realm of music.

Tickets for Patrick Wolf’s night at the Epstein Theatre are priced at £15 and are available from the Epstein Theatre Box-office.
